Elliot has been specializing in general and surgical dermatology since 2018. He has a special interest in skin cancer detection and treatment but enjoys all aspects of medical and surgical dermatology. Elliot earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. Elliot also completed further dermatology training through the SDPA diplomate fellowship program in 2018.
Elliot grew up in New Ulm, MN and has strong family roots in the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota area. Elliot lives in Plymouth with his wife and daughter. Outside of the office, Elliot enjoys quality time with family and friends. He also enjoys staying busy with social events and getting out in the community.
Elliot is thrilled to have the opportunity to join an innovative practice that allows him to care for patients in a community he loves. He prides himself on his ability to connect with patients and build long term patient relationships. Elliot strives to practice the most up to date evidence based medicine to provide top notch dermatological care.
CAQ-Derm stands for Certificate of Added Qualification in Dermatology. This certification recognizes that Elliot has advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in the specialty of Dermatology from the National Certification Commission of PAs. This certification embodies multiple requirements. First, Elliot has at least 4,000 hours practice experience within the Dermatology specialty. Second, the Dermatologist that Elliot practices with has attested to his mastery in procedure and patient case requirements. Lastly, Elliot has passed a Dermatology PA specialty examination.
